He was predeceased by: his father Harold W. Hartley; his brother Wayne; and his daughter-in-law Amanda. He is survived by: his sons, Doug Jr. (Annette) of Milan, David (Beth) of Manchester and Joel of Ann Arbor; his wife Kathy; his daughter Dawn Brugger (Joseph) of Hudson; his grandchildren, Nathan Nightingale, Brittney Sumner, Gage Nightingale, Gillian Miranda, Chase Hartley, Emma Dirkse, Andrew Hartley, Natalie, Brandon and Drew Hoeft; and his great grandchildren, McKenna, Max Nightingale, Parker, Asher and Marshall Sumner.
