She was predeceased by: her parents, Darwin R. Downer and Cora K. Downer (Bollinger); her daughter Julie Taylor; and her siblings, Charles Downer and Marian Boyce.
She is survived by: her son Stuart R. Taylor of Bloomfield Hills; her granddaughters, Ava and Brooke Taylor; and her siblings, Butch Downer (Laura) and Jane Merkel of Naples, FL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Cole Funeral Chapel (214 E Middle St, Chelsea, MI 48118). A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Julie Ann Taylor Cancer Research Fund at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor.
