He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda; his daughters, Erika (Adam) and Emily (Steve); his grandchildren, Clara, Grant, James, Luca, Nico and Giovanni; his sisters, Elaine and Heidi; his parents, Erika and Raymond; his friend David Hernke; his family Don; his sons-in-law, Steve, Adam and Don; and his grandfathers, Grant (James) and Luca. He was also cherished by sixteen nieces and nephews.
