He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hellner and Wilhelmina Hellner (Maier); his wife Annemarie Potysch; and his siblings, Catherine O'Neil, Anne Chamberlain, Elvera Kennard, Caroline Miller, Rosemary Donner, William Hellner, Leo Hellner and George Hellner.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn Reed (Eric), Jackie Grabinski (Terry), Tony Hellner (Mark) and Nancy Francis; and his grandchildren, Rachel (Jenna) of Nicholas, TJ, Ashley, Alyssa, Lindsay, Nathan and Justin Francis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and close friends.
