He was predeceased by: his parents, Ormond and Anna; his brother Prof. Ronald Kapp; his sister-in-law Phyllis Kapp; his parents-in-law, Arthur and Florence Rutter; his siblings-in-law, Paul and Janet Rutter; his nieces, Pamela Rutter, Angie Williams (Matt) and Paula Hicks (Keith); his nephew Michael Rutter (Jackie); his siblings-in-law, Thomas and June Rutter; and his nieces and nephews, Thomas Rutter, Valerie Rutter and Theresa Nault (Gary).
He is survived by: his wife Karen Ann Rutter; his children, Christian Kapp (Dayna), Heather Kapp Holt (Dominic) and Matthew Kapp (Eryn); his grandchildren, Sydney Kapp, Isaac Kapp and Jonah Kapp; his sister Dorothy; his brother-in-law Cary Shear; his nieces, Lisa Kapp Moss, Marda Mills (Douglas) and Sara Mullen (Tim); and his nephew Jon Kapp (Chirapha).
