He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr Fred G. Cox and Lenore Cox (McCarthy); his sister Lani (Cox); his brother-in-law Chet Connors; and his brother Michael.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Cox, Erin Vawser (Cheyne), Kevin Cox (Alisa) and Patrick Cox; his grandchildren, Lyla, Benjamin, Calean, Ryleigh, Avery and William; and his siblings, Dr. F. David Cox (Kathy), John T. Cox, Maureen Cox McKenna, John V. Cox (Kathy) and Marianne Cipolla (Dominic).
