It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Alpern of Ann Arbor, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on June 23, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Irwin Alpern. He is survived by: his daughter Hannah; his family, Samuel, Margaret and Charlotte; his wife Pyper; his children, Samuel, Margaret and Charlotte; his mother Barbara Alpern; his siblings, Elizabeth Alpern (Michael Berkwits) and Marc Alpern; his parents-in-law, Sue Logan and Dennis Logan (Sheila); his sister-in-law Whitney Hettinga (Eric); and his nieces, Ava, Talia Berkwits, Kaitlin and Audrey Hettinga. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
