It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernadine S. Huczek (Ann Arbor, Michigan), who passed away on March 18, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hincka and Regina Hincka (Romel); and her husband Joseph T. Huczek. She is survived by: her children, Paula Schoch (Lincoln), Steve Huczek (Kathey), Ann Lovett (Paul), Joe Huczek (Kyla) and Tom Huczek; her grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan, Chad Schoch, Sophia, Conrad Lovett and Alexis Huczek; her stepgrandchildren, Rylee, Aubri and Taryn; and her great grandchildren, Olivia and Maxwell.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nie Family Funeral Home, Liberty Road Chapel (3767 W Liberty Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48103). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (530 Elizabeth St, Ann Arbor, MI 48104). A burial will be held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bethlehem Cemetery (2801 Jackson Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48103).
