She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Gyde and Bessie Gyde (Hicks); her husband Elmer; her brother Edgar; and her siblings-in-law, Margaret Gyde and Guy Paul.
She is survived by: her daughters, Laurie Comuth (Johan) and Marie Bates (Robert); her grandchildren, Aaron Bates (Lindsey), Ashley Doyal (Jacob), Allen Bates, Amy Comuth, Kristen Comuth (Chris Slusser), Emily Comuth and Matthew Comuth; her great grandchildren, Clayton, Blake Bates, Jackson, Weston Doyal and Krista Slusser; and her sister Ethel Paul. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
