He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Heimerl and Emma Heimerl (Zeireis); and his siblings, Chauncey, Gale, Tugg, Sheridan, Morris, Patricia, Hazel and Margie.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey (Pagel); his children, Debbie Holden, Barb Laughbaum, Lee and Paul; and his sister Amy Anderson. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
