He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Rapson and Dorothy Skinner; his stepfather William Skinner; his sister Joanne Tippie; and his brother-in-law John Tippie.
He is survived by: his son Jim Rapson (Allison); his grandchildren, Amanda Kozar (John), Alexandria Carley (Shaun), Izzy Stahl (Nate) and Robby Rapson (Kenzie); his great grandchildren, Bryce, Haylie, Jaxson, Anakin, Jordan, Ezekiel, Scarlett and Caroline; and his siblings, Gloria Wilson, Robert Rapson (Lynn), Marion Hank (James), Billy Skinner and Jimmy Skinner (Peggy).
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Alaska Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the American Legion Post 305 (9548 Cherry Valley Ave SE, Caledonia, MI 49316).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Helen DeVos Children's Hospital.
