He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Hawkins and Edna Hawkins; his siblings, Clayton Hawkins Jr. and Sharon Hawkins; his daughters-in-law, Dede Hawkins and Mary Hawkins; and his sister-in-law Barbara Hawkins.
He is survived by: his wife Gertrude Louise Teater; his children, Raymond Hawkins Jr. (Penny), James Hawkins, William Hawkins, Roy David Hawkins (Kathy), John Hawkins (Sandy) and Mary Crosby (Chad); and his brother Richard Hawkins (Joyce). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
