He was predeceased by: his father Lyle Bencker; and his brothers, Larry Bencker (Sue) and Ronald Bencker (Linda). He is survived by: his wife Nancy J. Bencker (Strong); his children, Emma Vander Ziel (Andy) and Analyse Veenstra (Chad); his mother Delores P. Bencker (Strouse); and his sisters, Michelle Tava (Tom) and Debbie Craig (Tim). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
