He was predeceased by: his wife Melva Oesch; his grandsons, Joseph Robert and Freddie; and his siblings, Ella Louise Blough, Virginia Schutte, Kate Wheeler, Margaret Oesch and Ernie Oesch.
He is survived by: his children, Fredrick Oesch (Donna), Bonnie Stouffer (David), Sam Oesch (Randi), Ken "Peny" Oesch (Denise), Jeff Oesch (Brenda), Tom Oesch (Michelle) and Sally Meyer (Don); his sister Marilyn Byam; his siblings-in-law, Gary Crosby (Jane), Jim Crosby, Donna Maier (Sim) and Polly Vanderstel; and his great great grandchild Thea. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren.
