He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Franklin De Kok; his sister Gayle Troyer; his wife Darlene; his children, Heather Hughes (Christopher), Glenn De Kok (Alison) and Franklin Troyer; his grandchildren, Kenzie Hughes, Caleb Hughes, Jacob De Kok and Austin De Kok; his mother Delores De Kok; and his siblings, Terry De Kok and Debra Vander Weide (Stephen). He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
