He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie and Leona; and his siblings, Elaine, Charles, Eleanor, Eloise and Evelyn.
He is survived by: his wife Helen M. Hobbs; his children, Christine Sanches (Jeff), Jay Hobbs and Carolyn Hobbs Kreiger (Brent); and his sister Estelle Stark (Harvey). He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
