It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Elaine Dykhuis of Alto, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on April 22, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lachniet and Gertrude Lachniet; her husband Ken; her children, Kevin, Steven and Cynthia Mitchelll; and her brother Carl.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Miller (Alonzo) of Clarksville, Kenneth Dykhuis Jr. (Shirley) of Carson City, Scott Dykhuis (Peggy) of Greenville, Jelaine Smoes (Mark) of Lowell and Kimberly Hale (Gerald) of Lowell; her brother Roger Lachniet of Kansas; and her son-in-law John Mitchell of Lowell. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
