It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cassidy Vander Poppen of Alto, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on May 20, 2021, at the age of 34, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Elmer, Ruth Collar, Harold and Judy Sias. She is survived by: her parents, Gary Sias and Renee Sias (Collar); her husband Mark Vander Poppen; her children, Andrew Jacob Sias, David Michael Vander Poppen and Kennedy Elizabeth Vander Poppen; her siblings, Heather VandeKieft (Mark) and Jake Sias (Shiloh); her grandfather Donald Bigger; her aunt Missy Tichelaar (Chuck); her parents-in-law, Wanda Vander Poppen and Mark Vander Poppen; her sisters-in-law, Valerie Wychers (Larry) and Rebecca Guelde; and her cousin Jessica Romero. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
