She was predeceased by: her mother Gertrude Grant; and her siblings, Ardis Heers, Frank Sherington Jr., Donald Sherington and Carl Sherington.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Hewitt (Cliff), Dennis Slater and Kristine Meeuwsen (David); her grandchildren, Laurie Nicklyn, Brian Morgan, Danielle Smith (Jerry) and Joe Meeuwsen (Emily); and her sister Shirley Burd. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
To honor her life, donations may be made to the Humane Society of West Michigan.
