She was predeceased by: her parents, Miklos LaBay and Irene LaBay (Novak); her husband Russell; her grandson Justin Bjork; and her siblings, Rose Chiesa, Edward LaBay, Irene Chincinski, Mary Trojan, Mike LaBay and Ernest LaBay.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Bjork (Randy) of Gladstone, MI and Richard Smithson (Janet) of Crystal; her grandsons, Andrew Bjork (Misti), Nathan Bjork (Becky) and Brian Hunter (Jill); her great grandchildren, Gabe, Corinne, Ethan, Katelyn, Ella, Adeline and Drew; and her sister-in-law Rita Pozza (Smithson).
