She was predeceased by : her parents, Zigman Burke and Leonore Burke (Laundry); her husband Kenneth Copping; her children, Patti Konarzewski (Robert) and Kim Copping; her stepfather Lester McSorley; and her stepbrothers, Charles McSorley and Lester McSorley.

She is survived by : her son James Copping (Lynn); her daughter-in-law Laurie Copping; her grandchildren, Travis Konarzewski (Ashley), Matthew Copping, Jamie Copping (Chris Werle), Kelsie Copping, Katelyn Copping (Robert Berry) and Brianna Snow (Doug); her great grandchildren, Logan, Levi, Landon, Maximus, Penelope, Tucker, Aiden, Wyatt, Colton, Chase, Genevieve and Sophia; and her sister Patricia Sheeran. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, June 23rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bannan Funeral Home (222 S 2nd Ave, Alpena, MI 49707). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
