With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William VanVolkenburg (Alpena, Michigan), who passed away on October 11, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James VanVolkenburg and Leona VanVolkenburg (Favel); and his sons, James Neville (Lorraine) and Wendal Goodrich. He is survived by: his children, William Kinsey, Dwayne Jameson (Mary), Eugene Jameson (Jodi), Anthony VanVolkenburg, Erin Felax (Keith), Marcee Naylor (Michael), Claudia "Sue" Neville and Alan Shepherd (Elaine). He is also survived by His numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial donations can be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
