He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Thibault and Hazel Thibault (LaVere); and his siblings, Arthur, Howard, Robert and Mildred Benning.

He is survived by: his wife Ann Timmreck; his children, Terry (Wendy), Raymond (Catherine), Mark (Gayle) and Kathryn Styma (Patrick); and his sister Helen Kendziorski.
