He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph R. Bleau and Mable Bleau (Johnson); and his siblings, Mark Bleau, John Bleau, Ellen Pahlkotter, Marie Tiers, Mary Shields and Susan Bleau.
He is survived by: his wife Betty M. Arlt; his children, Ruth Ann Belanger (Dan) of Alpena, MI, Carol Tessmer of Alpena, MI, Randy Frank of Presque Isle, MI, Jenny Tessmer (Jerry) of Alpena, MI, Judy Putkamer (Dale) of Alpena, MI, Wilbur Jr. Bleau of Alpena, MI and Raymond Bleau (Tona) of Alpena, MI; and his siblings, Joseph J. Bleau (Laura) of Alpena, MI, David Bleau (Tina) of Alpena, MI, Willieoma Roznowski of Alpena, MI, Joan Burns of Clio, MI, Margaret Kamyszek (Alphonse) of Alpena, MI, Catherine Houghton of Canada, Barbara Agius and Linda Metz (Robert). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery, In Memory of Wilbur memorials may be made to friend's choice.
