He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Sr. Gibbs and Alice Gibbs (Slater). He is survived by: his children, Sandie Martinmaas, Manuel Gibbs and Betty Jo Larson; his stepchildren, Lewis Pake, Jr., Robert Pake and Mary Haske; and his sister Betty DeCare. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
