Thomas Watkins Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Watkins of Alpena, Michigan, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on August 12, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Watkins and Rhea Watkins (McGlinch); his son-in-law James Wells; and his brothers-in-law, Dwight Wagonlander and James Hoshal.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Wagonlander; his children, Thomas II (Kris), Rebecca Wells and Nancy Elgort (David); his grandchildren, Sarah Watkins, Justin Watkins (Lindy), Alicia Wells (Nick Thomas), Emily Mayo (Justin), Jessica Leo, Sarah Elgort, Lindsey Morse (Jason) and Joshua Konopka; his sister Glenn Hoshal; and his sister-in-law Shiela Wagonlander. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Congregational UCC, Hospice of Michigan, or Second Chance Animal Shelter.
