She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Diemond and Florence Diemond (Kindt); her husband Eugene "Chick" Stoppa; and her brothers, Joseph Diemond and Richard Diemond.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Morton (Marylynn), Patty Wenzel (Richard), Grace Schooley (Wesley Jr.) and Karen Morton; her sister Rosalie Turske; and her sister-in-law Veronica Diemond. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
Interment: Evergreen Cemetery, In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church – Alpena.
