It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Marie (Bentley) Berent of Alpena, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on July 4, 2020, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Agnes Bentley; and her father-in-law Thomas Berent. She is survived by: her father Wendell Bentley; her husband Marc Berent; her siblings, Kari Tomek (Philip) and Brian Bentley (Amy); her mother-in-law Mary Berent; her siblings-in-law, Gregg Berent and Pam Saumier (Sean); and her nieces and nephews, Ellen Tomek, Anna Morgan, Kyle Tomek, Tyler Bentley, Jessica Knoodle and Jacob Saumier.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Susan was born in Flint, MI on October 17, 1960, daughter of Wendell and Agnes Bentley.
