He is survived by: his sons, Steven R. Martell Jr. of Alpena, MI and Frederick T. Martell of Traverse City, MI; and his siblings, Terrence Martell (Sherry) of Hains, AK, Alan Martell (Patti) of Alpena, MI, Scott Martell (Mary Beth), Carol Kolnowski (Mark) of Herron, MI, Julie Eller (Gary) of Ossineke, MI and Beth MacKinnon (Tom "Chewie") of Alpena, MI. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
