He was predeceased by: his parents, John Torhan and Helen Torhan (Kobrin); and his brother-in-law David Baker. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Sharp; his sisters, Amy Chute (Barry) and Joanie Roos (Mark); his siblings-in-law, Laurie Sharp-Baker and James Sharp (Bev); his niece Darcy Sieber (Jonathan); and his nephews, David Chute (Tamar), Dr. Derek Roos (Jill), Craig Roos (Ashley) and Jared Roos (Miki).
Inurnment: Oakview Cemetery, Royal Oak, In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Huron Humane Society or Second Chance Animal Shelter.
