We are sad to announce that on April 24, 2025, at the age of 89, Shirley Jean Donakowski of Alpena, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlie Bellmore and Celia Bellmore (Precord); her husband Clarence "Sonny" Donakowski; and her brother Larry Bellmore. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Montie, Thomas Donakowski, Kenneth Donakowski and Jeanne Graichen (Clyde); her grandchildren, Nicholas, Heather, Angela Montie, Jessie Reddie (Ryan), Gina Kauffman (Chris), Chase Donakowski (Kaitlyn) and Sara Donakowski; her great grandchildren, Conner, Easton, Hanna and Aubrie; and her sister Carol Vernon.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bannan Funeral Home (222 S 2nd Ave, Alpena, MI 49707). A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
