She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Haken and Jean Haken (Cook); her brother-in-law Darald Kitter; and her nephews, Ted and Ken Kitter.
She is survived by: her husband Darwin E. Hartman; her children, Randy Hartman (Cindy), Sue Murphy (Mike) and Shari Romel (Paul); her grandchildren, Keith Hartman (Stacie), Jessica Krawczak (Luke), Adam Neumann (Leah), Jason Romel (Bill) and Jordan Eaton (Randy); her sister Patricia Kitter; and her niece Jacci Stepaniak. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
