Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Shirley Brooks (Alpena, Michigan), born in Marshfield, Wisconsin, who passed away at the age of 82, on December 29, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Davis and Harriet Davis (Towne); her sister-in-law Gini Davis; and her son-in-law Daniel Songony. She is survived by: her husband Eugene Brooks; her brothers, Chuck Davis (Gini) and Rick Davis (Debbie); and her children, Nanette Songony (Daniel), Daniel Brooks (Susan), Nena Shipman (John) and Vaughn Brooks (Carolee). She is also survived by grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Alpena, Michigan.
