It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Royal Roger Urlaub of Alpena, Michigan, born in Hawks, Michigan, who passed away on March 9, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Urlaub and Florence Urlaub (Claus); his son-in-law Mike Cramer; and his siblings, Carlton, Gerald Urlaub and Joy Salatino.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline Miller; his children, Pamela Cramer, Carrie Wood (David Bradley) and Rodney Urlaub (Sara); his grandchildren, Chad Cramer (Shelby), Jason Cramer (Kate), Brittany Robinson (Ryan), Tyler Wood, Justin Urlaub (Brittany) and Jacob Urlaub; his great grandchildren, Marissa, Andrew, Avianah, Joseph, Caleb, Kamdyn, Finn, Lilliana, Olivia, Mackenzie and Madelyn; his brothers, Bill Urlaub (Marian), Lowell Urlaub and Loren Urlaub (Bonnie); and his sister-in-law Nancy Urlaub. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Interment: New Bismarck Cemetery, Hawks, Michigan, In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran School or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
