He was predeceased by: his father Phillip Kunath; his wife Elaine Beaubien; and his siblings, Jean Bolter, Norm Kunath, Lois Darga and Robert Kunath.
He is survived by: his children, Jane Walker (Dexter), Julie Papenfuss (Rick), JoAnn Reinholz (Rudy), James Kunath and Jennifer Kunath (Curt Adams); and his grandchildren, Michelle Fradette, Michael Fradette, Mary Reinholz, Jamie Thayer, Jason Kunath, Autumn Johnston, Emily Douglas, David Verville, Taylor Kunath and Zach Kunath. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
