He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lancewicz and Violet Lancewicz (Gouine); his wife Inge Foos; his son John Lancewicz; his granddaughter Mila; and his brothers, Darrell Lancewicz, John Lancewicz and Joseph Lancewicz.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Lancewicz Jr. (Tammy), Olen Lancewicz (Teri) and Marianne Modrzynski (Cary); and his siblings, Gary Lancewicz (Carlene), Richard Szymanski (Diane), Kay Hinman (Don), Sally Jensen and Annie McMillian (Jim). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
