He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar "Ace" and Shirley Garant (Kauffman); his brothers-in-law, David Dziesinski and Harry Crocker; and his niece Ami Lenning.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Budnick; his children, Brian (Sarah) of Oak Lawn, Keith (Lisa) of Alpena, Daniel (Jennifer) of Canton, Michigan and Heather Ellis (Michael) of Easley; his grandchildren, Kela, Heidi, Tidus, Charlotte, Amelia, Willow, Katya and Maxim; and his siblings, Joseph Garant (Pat), Bill Garant (Mary), Sharon Crocker, Diane Dziesinski and Beth MacArthur (Michael).
Memorials in memory of Ron may be made to St. Jude Chidren's Hospital or friends' choice.
