It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Michael Spleet of Alpena, Michigan, who passed away on August 22, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Casimer Spleet and Nathalie Spleet (Ryczynski); his spouse Beverly Fleck; and his siblings, James Spleet and Theresa Gagnon.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Spleet Jr., Suzanne Cheng, Patricia Kelbaugh (Thomas), Diane Spleet and John Spleet; his grandchildren, Crystal Spleet, Joseph Kelbaugh (Susan), Ryan Spleet (Jennifer), Amy McCain (Chase) and Lindsey Sprinkle (Keaton); his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Jace, Rylan, Whitney, Lowel, Jackson, Chloe and Bryant; and his brother Michael Spleet (Mary Kay).
