He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Robert and Dolores Onilee Brilinski (Cameron); his wife Lila Mae Thompson; and his brother Gary Brilinski. He is survived by: his children, Donna Brilinski and Nelson Brilinski; his stepdaughter Linda Wagner (Nick); his siblings, Joan Eagle (Curt), Carol Pohl (Ron), David Brilinski (Joyce) and Sheri Prena (Ralph); his sister-in-law Shelby Badder Brilinski Schultz; and his daughter Julie Brilinski Lee (Anthony). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (351 Wilson St, Alpena, MI 49707). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Inurnment: Evergreen Cemetery, In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Huron Humane Society, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Alpena Senior Citizens Center.
