He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Meixell and Alice Meixell (Claypool); and his sisters, Kathryn Sandel (Dale) and Ilah Smith. He is survived by: his wife Mayford Gabara of Lapeer; his sons, Brian (Patty) of Ortonville and Todd Meixell of Tucson, AZ; and his grandchildren, Jacob Meixell, Joslyn Meixell-Hartmann (Ryan), Tome'Meixell, Melanie Hatfield (Travis), Colleen Chapman (Jason), Thomas Crumbaugh (Rebekah), Owen Crumbaugh and Patrick Crumbaugh (Megan). He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Bible Church in Lapeer or Frank Graham (Samaritan's Purse).
