He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Stedman and Nettie Stedman (Hauff); his wife Carolyn Hand; his daughter Linda Hand; and his siblings, Manuel Stedman, Chester Stedman and Irene Stedman.
He is survived by: his close friend Ronald Saddler; his children, Charles Stedman, Darlene Saddler (Ronlad), Richard Stedman (Yuliana) and Maurice Stedman (Melinda); and his siblings, Everett Stedman and Jean Dowling. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
