He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Jones and Lenore Jones (Kinsel); his son Richard "Dickie" Jones; and his siblings, Eugene Jones and Mary Rayon.
He is survived by: his wife Dianna Bassett; his children, Steve Jones (Andrea), Doug Jones (Rose), Laurie King (Jim) and Sue Bock; his stepchildren, Steve Maveal (Terri), Lisa Gapske (Garth) and Doug Maveal; and his sisters, Barb LaMay (Leon), Karen Smith (Howard) and Ruth Wright (Roger). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
