He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Grochowski (James) and Anthony Grochowski of Alpena; his siblings, Janice Konarzewski (Raymond) and Gary; and his granddaughter Esabella Magdaleno.

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Patty; his wife Patricia (Seguin-Werda); his siblings, James (Helen), Michael (Nancy), Ronald (Renee), Patricia Shauger, Butch (Janice), Julie, Herbert (Norma), Daniel (Karen) and Steven; his children, Bryan (Kelly), Jerald, Nicole Waligora (Tom), Jennifer (Fred Magdaleno) and Joseph (Natalie); and his grandchildren, Frederick, Cecelia, Alexandra, James, Rivka, Linus and Eliza.

Visiting will continue on Wednesday, Nov. 25 from 1-3pm, following COVID restrictions, with a private service Wednesday at 3pm with Rev. Joseph Muszkiewicz officiating.
