He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Arlene; his children, Tom Lay of Hubbard Lake, Sandy Krome (Ken) of Vassar, Fred Lay of Hubbard Lake and Sally Johnstone (Don) of Alpena; and his grandchildren, Christina, Kendra and Gail. He was also cherished by three great-grandchildren.
