With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Randy Lee Hompstead of Alpena, Michigan, who passed away on March 31, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Hompstead and Judy Hompstead (Egelski); and his brother David Schuelke. He is survived by: his wife Judy Mason; his children, Jamie Clay (Don), Stephanie Maida and Richard Schmidt; his grandchildren, Kaydee Smolinski (Jake), Kelly Clay, Kristy Clay, Kyle Clay, Eva May Maida, Elivia Maida, Evan Maida and Evalynn Maida; his great grandchildren, Ely Lytle and Ellie Lytle; and his siblings, Renae Dault (Randy), Rhonda Montie, Roxanne Hompstead, Lisa Halvorson, Robin Bredow (Irvin), Jeff Schuelke (Bernadette) and Hugh Hompstead. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
