He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gerald Donakowski and Carolyn Donakowski (Baker); his wife Peggy; his children, Kristin Beebe (Jeff) of Spring Hill, TN., Matthew Burg (Ashley) of Bath, MI., Alicia Liske (Matthew) of Hubbard Lake, MI., Andrew Burg (Cindy) of Saginaw, MI., Ciji Marckini (Nick) of Grandville, MI. and Preston Donakowski of Grand Rapids, MI.; his grandchildren, Sam, Hattie, Ethan, Ava, Kameryn, Karsen, Cole, Lucas and Bella; his siblings, Michelle Miller (Kim) of Alpena and Bryan Donakowski (Laurie) of Hubbard Lake, MI.; his parents-in-law, Rose Kamyszek, Glen Kamyszek (Geri), Larry Kamyszek (Patty), Mark Kamyszek (Joann), Donna Rogers (Scott) and Sonie Rousseau (Mike); his pet Loki; and his father-in-law Eugene Kamyszek.
He and his wife, Peggy, worked tirelessly to keep the event going even through the recent pandemic.
