Nyda Ellen Barrix Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nyda Ellen Barrix of Alpena, Michigan, born in Six Lakes, Michigan, who passed away on January 3, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Kelley and Jennie Kelley (Reed); her husband Charles Barrix; her daughter Sue Hooper; her granddaughter Misi; and her siblings, Max, Gene, Bobby, Margie, Bonnie and Shirl.
She is survived by: her family Lord; her children, Stephen Barrix (LaVergne) of Homer-Glen, IL and Marsha Barrix of Alpena; her son-in-law Kirk Hooper of Northville; and her brothers, Norman Kelley and James Edwin Kelley (Marlene). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
