He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Francis J. O'Donnell (Doc) and Marie Quinn O'Donnell (Fitzpatrick); his siblings, Francis O'Donnell, Patricia O'Donnell and John O'Donnell (Joyce); and his brothers-in-law, William Yockey and Michael Homant.
He is survived by: his wife Marcia Alexandria O'Donnell (Smith); his children, Francis (Stella O'Donnell), Timothy O'Donnell, Colleen (Mark Jacobs), Marney Kloote, Stacy Rieger and Ryan (Sarah O'Donnell); his grandchildren, Mia O'Donnell (Matt Woodard), Emma O'Donnell, Frankie O'Donnell, Tyvon Scott, Jack O'Donnell, Alex Jacobs, Saidee Homant (Don), Clay Jacobs, Maggie Sullivan (Alex), Jimmy Kloote, Quinn Rieger and Gracey Rieger; and his nieces, Sarah Homant and Margaret Yockey.
