He was predeceased by: his father Warren Boes; and his brother Willard 'Bill Boes. He is survived by: his wife Mary Whelan; his daughter Cheryl Mack; his grandchildren, John and Katie; and his sisters, Sandy Dolce (Joe) and Angie Vincent (Will). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
