She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward A. Hanner and Lillian Aleda Hanner (Dault); and her siblings, Susan Hanner and Charles Hanner. She is survived by: her close friend Donald "Don" Hampton; her children, Lee Hampton (Callie) of Abilene, TX, Grant Hampton (KC) of Bay Village, OH, Wade Hampton (Kim) of Toledo, OH, Jon Hampton (Barb) of Kinross, MI and Curt Hampton (Julie) of Alpena, MI; her grandchildren, Carie Anthony (Michael), Nikole Peterson (Zach), Ryan Hampton (Viggy), Eric Hampton (Joanna), Kayla Devine (Thomas), Tyler Hampton, Brett Hampton, Kyle Hampton, Christopher Hampton and Grace Ryan; her great grandchildren, Adeline, Emma, Eleanor and Scarlett; and her sister Joyce McCaulley.
Memorials may be made to the Alpena, MI All Saints Parish, St. Catherine Catholic Church in Ossineke, Michigan or to the donor's favorite charity in memory of Lou.
